Our Company
Disaster Solutions Australia (DSA) aim to tackle the diverse and rapidly evolving cleaning and restoration industry in Australia by placing the client and their customers first. In times of disaster, DSA understand that focus needs to be placed on effective communication and the people in need.
A trusted name in Victoria (and Australia) for all aspects of restoration and trade services, DSA has the ability to provide a seamless service, ranging from professional inspections and scoping, through to final re-builds.
In conjunction with building our team into a highly skilled, highly specialised group, we’ve also attained benchmark IICRC accreditation’s.
Through our strong understanding of the challenges facing ourselves, and the building, cleaning, and restoration industry as a whole, has motivated us to build a fully integrated, cloud-based software project management system. This system allows our Project Managers to coordinate their staff and their sites in real-time, keeping our key technical assets and resources utilised effectively from start to finish.
With the client as our central focus, we offer a bundled service within the insurance industry that prioritises effectiveness and efficiency through smart management.
As a people focused business, we continue to offer a diverse consistent service to all those in need of assistance after a disaster occurs.
Leadership
Our business leadership is steered by a dynamic leadership team, each with unique roles and responsibilities.
Parris Stamos
Founder & Managing Director
Holding degrees in Commerce (Management)
and Law, along with an Advanced Diploma in
Business (HR), and a Diploma in Building and
Construction, Parris serves as Director of DSA,
overseeing company direction, strategy,
financial control, and probity, while heading
customer and client care. Parris is the driver of
the company's culture and community.
Paul Grigoriou
Director of Operations
With over 12 years of carpentry experience and
construction knowledge, Paul utilises his
expertise to over see all company operations.
Leveraging his wealth of technical expertise and
project management knowledge, he is the
central driver at DSA, managing the interests of
various stakeholders and ensuring alignment
between the organisation's strategic direction
and everyday operations.
Michael Stamos
Director of Technical Services
With a Degree in Civil Engineering and a
Graduate Diploma in Project Management,
Michael manages technical and information
management and delivery services side of DSA.
Michael brings extensive practical and technical
expertise in project management and
engineering, honed through years of industry
experience.
Sammy Stamos
Director of Projects
With a Degree in Construction Management
receiving Honours, Sammy brings a wealth of
Domestic and Commercial construction
knowledge. Spending over 10 years in the
construction industry in roles such as
Estimating, Contract Management and Project
Management Sammy leads the Estimating and
Supervisor team, Sammy has come into DSA
passing on his expertise in building science,
construction and OH&S and driving focus on
quality control, service and efficiency.
Chris Spanos
Director of Finance
With over 30 years of experience, Chris plays a
vital role at DSA ensuring that the company's
exponential growth is supported by a robust
financial structure. Armed with a Bachelor of
Business (Accounting), and membership in the
Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA), Chris
leads the Financial Department, bringing a
wealth of knowledge and expertise to the
organization's financial management.
